The impulse to record our observations, dreams and fantasies with materials close at hand is an integral part of being human. Images created by carving into rock, drawing with charcoal, ochres and chalk have given us insights into the earliest known cultures. In this new exhibit, Partners Gallery artists explore new possibilities by collecting natural materials to use for both process and medium.
