MINA COHEN

Picture

The natural environment, my family traditions, travel experiences, and art
history are some of the themes I explore in my work. I consider myself a
painter but sometimes collage morphs into relief sculpture or photography.
Recently pattern and rhythm have become important elements of the work.
There is often narrative content though I strive for a degree of mystery that
takes the viewer on their own journey. Since I work in series, there is a great
degree of research that comes into each work.
