The images in this exhibition explore expressions of emotion using the male nude as the vehicle.
I want to reframe the equation of vulnerability as weak to that of power and resilience.
I hope to provoke inquiry into the subtle (and not so subtle) social constructions that underpin
our notions of tenderness, sadness, shame, and other raw emotions.
Over the last several years, I have come to revere the power of my vulnerability; these
images reflect a kind of visual diary of my own "going inland."
