Green is the subject of the Partners Gallery show beginning this month, with gallery members exploring the color and the meanings of Green. There is green as new growth, as grasslands, lawns, and the Plains. Works explore oxygen-producing oceanic plankton, the emanations of green light, snake skins, personal ghosts, and tentacles coiling out of an armchair. Media include painting, encaustic, mixed media, wet felt wool, painted porcelain, printmaking, and woven cotton.
Meet the Artists at our Second Saturday Opening March 14, 5-7pm.
