We are pleased to welcome fiber artist Adriane Nicolaisen to Partners Gallery as our newest member.
Adriane was a student of anthropology, and still looks to the anonymous masterpieces of ethnic textiles, as well as contemporary design sources in art and architecture. She has been hand weaving for more than 20 years, and has in recent years turned to felting, a more visceral process than weaving. “Wet felt is a very plastic medium where each new piece leads me in directions I had not anticipated. I now divide my time between the two art forms.”

We, too, look forward to seeing Adriane’s beautiful work displayed with ours in our Gallery.

Artists' Co-op of Mendocino (ACM) is celebrating the reconnection of 4 printmakers for an exciting group show. Mary Anderson, Kathy Carl, Gail Coulson, and Debra Beck Lennox worked together at the former NOYO Printworks space in Fort Bragg. The exhibit runs from April 5 to May 1. The gallery is open every day from 11am-4pm with extended hours on Second Saturday April 8 from 4-7pm. Located at Kasten and Albion Streets, Mendocino. Find them online at:
If you are in San Francisco, in the Inner Sunset, do stop in to see partner Virginia Sharkey's, painting ’’Dreem" which has been juried into an exhibition called Color Pop! at the San Francisco Women Artists Gallery, 647 Irving Street. The show runs from April 4 to the 28th.
