With this exhibit I have ventured outside of my previous comfort zone of printmaking and traveled into a new realm of creativity. This collection includes watercolors manipulated and enhanced using a variety of materials in a manner that is unexpected and extraordinary. Paintings in watercolor and mixed media on unfamiliar surfaces have revealed visions of a reality that seeks to be understood.
Meet the artist on Second Saturday, July 11 from 5-7pm. Gallery hours are Thursday through Monday 11-4pm.
Also, on Saturday July 18, a few of the Emerging Artists from the Mendocino Music Festival will be performing a short recital in the gallery berween 4:30 and 5:30.
