The emotion of color is always my starting point and the vectors of line and the weight of gravity produce the intentions that coalesce into a kind of tone poem that is as explicit as one can denote with the reduced means put into play on a two dimensional surface. In recent years I have been depicting various aspects of time and the dynamic between the intimate and the infinite, stasis and flow, a presence captured.
